Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide will open a new luxury hotel in Venice

Hello everybody! I read a very interesting article about the big and luxury hotel company Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.

Starwood wants to open a new hotel in 2015, the name will be The St. Regis Venice San Clemente Palace (of St. Regis brand), and will be located in Venice.

The building where the hotel is built has been restored and it is situated in a private island.

The St. Regis Venice San Clemente Palace is owned by Permak Group, a Turkish company.

The hotel will have 191 rooms (48 suites with 1 Royal Suite and 1 Presidential Suite). The hotel building had different functions, was a monastery, a military post and a residence for the Venetian nobility. The building have very big gardens, spa, pool, tennis court and kids club. Also, will have a Mediterranean Restaurant called Acquerello and a St. Regis Bar.

Starwood has 21 hotels in Italy, operated by 5 of its 9 brands (St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin and Four Points by Sheraton).

I think that Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide does a good job, and for this reason can open a lot of hotels in different parts of the world.

With this new hotel the clients can choose between 4 hotels and also they can have more customers because a new hotel means more space for tourists.

They can employ people with a new hotel that is the most important thing nowadays.
